Our Paris Highlight

After almost one week enjoying the company of our amazing hosts in St Michel and Lille, we were so ready for Paris. It was truly one of the most romantic city and it was exactly the way I imagine it’d be.  Our trip was easy and chill.  We didn’t try to be too ambitious and rush things away.  However, despite the slow pace that we maintain, we eventually managed to tick all of our to-do-list while we were in Paris, including visited the main landmarks.

The fall weather was a bit too cold for me (around 4 – 5 C), but we were lucky because Paris only showered once during our entire stay there.  One major highlight was the morning we went to Eiffel, the sun was out and sunny (still couldn’t believe how lucky we are!).  Versailles was also my highlight of the trip – the palace, the decoration, the arts, the garden all are beyond words.

We’re back in Jakarta now and already diving in to our normal routine.  There are a few things (logistic mainly) that need some adjustments, but other than that, I’m quite ready to embrace the new life here.
